Overview

SocialAudit lets you delete all of the data associated with your account at any time. Because we access your Facebook posts, photos, and videos only with your consent and process them to generate audit results, you remain in full control of that data. This page explains exactly how to remove it.

Option 1: Delete your data from within the app

This is the fastest method and removes your data immediately.

  1. Sign in to SocialAudit at socialaudit.app with your Facebook account.
  2. Open your dashboard.
  3. Select Clear Data to permanently delete all imported content, audit results, and downloaded media associated with your account.
  4. Your data is erased from our servers as soon as the operation completes.

Option 2: Revoke SocialAudit's access on Facebook

You can disconnect SocialAudit from your Facebook account, which stops any further access to your Facebook data.

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings.
  2. Open Apps and Websites.
  3. Find SocialAudit in the list of connected apps.
  4. Select Remove to revoke access. This also asks Facebook to delete the data the app obtained.

Option 3: Request deletion by email

If you cannot access your account, you can ask us to delete your data on your behalf.
